2. How to make Easter Bunny Craft Gift wrap
This video shows how to make a bunny while wrapping a gift.
This design uses two different sizes of cloth, (the larger one is a white napkin and the smaller one is a pink handkerchief.
Materials
- Two squares of fabric
- Elastic band
- Ribbon
- Gift (such as candy can)
Fabric: should be about 3 times the size of the gift.
(The cloth in this picture is about 5 times the size, it’s manageble.)
Ribbon: Tying cloth with ribbon is not only for decoration, but also to maintain its shape.
Instructions:
Most of the steps are the same with Bunny Craft Wrapping or Easter basket below.
Only the differences are using two cloths and make a loose round knot for the stuffing.
It depends on the size and texture of the fabric. Using tissue (by wrapping the knot in tissue) or cotton pads may help smooth out the surface of the face.

Let’s reuse fabric!
Another advantage of this technique is that after Easter, you simply wash and iron the fabric and use the fabric for other wrapping designs depending on the purpose, gift or home decoration.

FAQ
What size of fabric to use for the Easter Basket design?
A rough guideline is that the basket should be about 1/3 the diagonal length of the fabric. The size of the cloth in the picture is 21″ x 21″ while the size of the basket is 7″ x 9″.
How do you make a decorative bunny?
My bunny design is rather simple. So shiny rhinestone stickers make the rabbit’s face come alive!
How do you make a easy bunny?
You can make a bunny’s face more easily by substituting a round object such as candy or balled up tissue, instead of a slippery plastic egg.
How did you dye your fabric?
Put fabric dye powder in a cup of boiling water. Fold the cloth in half diagonally and fold in half again. Dip one side of the two corners into the dye solution for about three inches. Let it cool, then rinse it with water and dry
What kind of fabric can be used for Bunny?
Light Cotton fabric, such bandana or Napkin, which has some “crispness” is best.
Can I use regular rubber bands to tie the cloth?
A thin rubber band may be too weak to bind the cloth; A 1/5 inch wide rubber band may work. You might need to bind it twice to make it tight.
