Here is How to wrap a round box using fabric; Fabric gift wrapping with flower on top.
Am I the only one who finds it difficult to wrap a round gift neatly with paper? In my case, when I carefully wrap a gift with paper while creasing it, the center inevitably moves and does not hold together evenly.
On the other hand, cloth, especially stretchy cloth, is generally easier to wrap because it can be redone at any time and there is no risk of tearing if pulled too hard.
The fabric shown here is cotton (solid colored bandana) but stretchable cloth is even easier to wrap.
The short video below shows how to wrap a round gift, and make a large flower on top.
All you need is a square of fabric and a hair elastic, (and a sticker for flower core :optional.) It takes about 2-5 minutes.
The fabric should be about 3 times the size of the gift.
Diagonal length of fabric = (gift height x 2 + gift diameter) x 3

Total Time: 5 minutes
Step 1
Spread out the cloth and place the gift in the center of the cloth.
Step 2
Grab a corner and crease it toward the center of the gift. Fold the other three corners in the same way.
Step 3
Tie all corners with the hair elastic and pull them up tightly.
Step 4
Keeping the longest corner, take a corner and fold in half. Tuck the tip into the center.
Fold the second corner in the same way.
Fold the third corner in half, tuck the tip in, and then lift the tip to make a floral core.
Step 5
Take the longest (remaining) corner, fold it into thirds or fourths.
Step 6
Wrap it around the base of the petals tightly.
Step 7
Tuck the tip into the elastic.
Step 8
Spread out the pedals.
Step 9
(Optional) Put a sticker in center.
