Recycle plastic bottles into vases. Change fabrics for each event and enjoy color coordination.
All you need is a plastic bottle and a square piece of cloth. No sewing or taping is required, and replacement is easy.
For a 500 ml water bottle, cloth sizes from 17″ x 17″ to 22″ x 22″ are suitable. The height of the bottle can be adjusted by changing the length of the folded portion of the cloth.

Step 1
Spread cloth flat.
Step 2
Take to a triangle. If the fabric is smaller, such as 18″ x 18″, shift it down 1″ – 2″ from the top.
Step 3
Turn it over and fold the bottom edge up 1.5 inches.
Step 4
Turn it over again and rotate it 90 degrees so that the bottom edge is to the left. Roll the bottle from the front along the bottom edge of the triangle.
Step 5
Lift the edge slightly at the red line.
Step 6
Fold the edges inward along the red line in step 5.
Step 7
Push the bottom of the bottle down.
Step 8
Fold the overhanging corner edge inward.
Step 9
Push the bottle back from the other side.
Step 10

After wrapping the bottles, instead of tuck all tips into the elastic band, roll up corners to make rose wrapping vase. Uses the same technique as “Rose fabric gift wrapping” and make a rose on top of the vase.
